Job Summary:
Mammographer - Short Term Acute Care, with a focus on breast imaging procedures. This role involves performing diagnostic mammograms, 3D mammography, stereotactic biopsies, localizations, and other breast imaging services. The position requires adaptability to float between units and the ability to work efficiently within a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certificates include ARRT (Radiology) registration, BLS certification, Oregon state license, and Mammography certification (ARRT). Prior experience in mammography procedures is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Hologic equipment and biopsy procedures is advantageous.
  • Additional Information: Shift scheduling includes Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday from 0800 to 1730. Experience with Hologic Affirm breast biopsy systems and 3D mammography is preferred but not mandatory. Must be familiar with mammography quality assurance procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working with both inpatient and outpatient settings, including breast biopsies, localizations, and screening mammograms. Flexibility to work a schedule that includes holiday coverage is required.
