Job Summary:
Mammographer (Specialty) in a healthcare setting. This position involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography exams. The role requires demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors to produce high-quality images, ensuring proper labeling in accordance with the department's Standard Operating Procedures. The successful candidate will evaluate images for technical acceptability, transmit images to Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) in a timely manner, and accurately complete all patient studies within the required electronic systems.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Days, 7.5 hours per day, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Must possess New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography
    • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Must maintain Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography
    • Demonstrated competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors
  • Experience: 1 year of mammography experience required.
  • Additional Information:
    • Schedule runs from October 12, 2026, through December 12, 2026.
    • This role involves working effectively and efficiently in a clinical environment, demonstrating excellent technical skills in mammography.
