Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, rotating days and varied shift times (7:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Schedule may include weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Produce diagnostic mammograms using mammographic equipment in a high-volume, fast-paced imaging environment
- Assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures
- Provide patient care appropriate to adult and geriatric populations, addressing physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety needs
- Make independent technical decisions to ensure the best possible mammographic image quality
- Operate hospital and department computer systems as required for imaging workflows
- Float to other areas within the organization up to competency level as needed; may be required to work 2–3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift per contract period
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Active Nevada State License (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Proficiency in operating mammography equipment and related imaging systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level acute care facility
- Familiarity with hospital-based imaging department workflows and electronic health record systems
