Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center, requiring ARRT M and ARRT R certification along with 4 years of experience.

Details

  • Inpatient and outpatient work settings across a large academic medical center
  • Float coverage between 4 sites within the health system as needed
  • Day shift schedules including 8:30 AM-5:00 PM and 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Every other Saturday shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a weekday off when scheduled
  • Schedule posted one week in advance
  • Performs 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
  • Uses Hologic 3D and Siemens equipment
  • Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in mammography
  • ARRT M and ARRT R certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Breast Ultrasound certification preferred
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Trauma Level I or large academic medical center experience required
  • Experience with Hologic equipment required
  • License required if applicable
  • Pending state license accepted, must be active prior to start date
  • 1 professional reference required

Additional Information

  • Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
  • Teal top and bottom scrubs required
  • Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
  • COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemptions only
  • First-time travelers not accepted
  • Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of the facility
  • Returning staff must have been separated for 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
  • Requests for time off greater than 7 days require additional approval
