Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring 1+ years of experience and proficiency with Siemens Revelation and Hologic Dimension equipment.

Details

  • Outpatient clinic setting focused primarily on screening mammography, with diagnostic exams performed as schedule allows
  • Minimum of 20 screening mammograms required per day with an average daily caseload of 55
  • 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • May float to sister facilities throughout the Charleston area as needed
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • Fast-paced environment requiring autonomy, teamwork, and flexibility

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
  • BLS and ARRT (M) certification required
  • SCRQSA (M) certification required
  • SC state license required if applicable
  • SC license must be in hand prior to start; pending licenses are not accepted
  • Must know how to operate Siemens Revelation and Hologic Dimension equipment
  • Must be proficient in performing both screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Experience with Hologic 3D and Siemens equipment required

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • 60-mile radius rule applies
  • All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission
  • Facility does not allow call-offs beyond 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Scrub color requirement: any shade of pink or dark teal top with black bottom
  • Unit orientation takes place on-site, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
