Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/SNF unit requiring 2 years of experience and an SD or compact RN license.

Details

• Long term care/skilled nursing facility setting with 42 beds
• Patient population includes LTC, memory care, dementia, and ortho diagnoses with no current behavioral risks
• Staffing ratio of 2 nurses per shift during days/evenings and 1 nurse at night
• Uses PointClickCare (PCC) EMR
• Day and evening shifts available, combination of 8s and 12s (6a-2p, 6a-6p, 2p-10p)
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Overtime available

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within a post-acute LTC/SNF unit
• Building-specific orientation covering lifts and facility procedures, approximately 2-4 hours
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• 80-mile radius rule applies for standard travel rate eligibility
