Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility night shift position requiring at least one year of experience and a compact or ND RN license.

Details

  • Post-acute care setting within a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility unit
  • 12-hour night shifts from 7PM-7:30AM
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Resident-to-caregiver ratio at night is up to 1:35, with medication pass at shift start and support from up to 2 CNAs
  • No on-call or call-back requirements
  • Utilizes a computerized charting system not otherwise specified

Requirements

  • Active RN license (ND or Compact) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • BSN not required for this position
  • Must be able to perform admissions and understand the admission process
  • Must know how to handle transfers, discharges, and fall reporting
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Responsible for all treatments during shift and oversight of CNA and bath aide support staff
  • Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at a reduced rate
  • Candidates residing outside the 80-mile radius are eligible for travel rate
