Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position requiring an active HI RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Long Term Care facility located on site of a hospital
  • 13-week assignment
  • Varied 8-hour shift scheduling including Days (0730-1530), Evenings (1500-2330), and Nights (2300-0730)
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required
  • OT rotation may be required with no guarantee of hours or shift preference

Requirements

  • Active HI RN license required by start of assignment
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

  • Perform patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration
  • Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information
  • Responsible for admitting and discharging patients
  • Provide ADL assistance, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
  • Candidates must arrive on-site the Friday prior to a Monday start to complete employee health and HR clearance with no exceptions
  • All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded at least 1 week before the start date
  • HI RN license must be in hand prior to the employee health/HR appointment
