Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or multistate compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry and/or LTAC hospital experience
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience required
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to provide safe, high-quality care in a complex patient care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to LTAC and telemetry patients
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support ventilator and tracheostomy management as part of daily patient care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective outcomes
• Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff competency and scope of practice
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional practice
