Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to geriatric residents in a long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care, including assessments and documentation.
  • Implement and oversee the nursing plan of care.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to LPN and CNA colleagues.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and team members.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and strong delegation skills in a dynamic environment.

Staffing Requirements

  • 1 RN for up to 20 residents.
  • 8-10 LPNs per unit.
  • 4-6 CNAs per unit.

Qualifications

  • Valid RN License in New York State.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
  • Telemetry experience preferred.
