  • Required Qualifications: WV Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, BLS Certification, minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, experience working with post-operative hips, knees, shoulders, pneumonia, and CHF patients, and proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems, specifically EPIC.
  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, with weekends and holidays rotating, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include managing medication administration, physician orders, patient assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and patient safety.
  • Additional Information: The unit handles post-acute care with a patient ratio of generally 1:9-12, focusing on geriatric nursing and rehabilitation. Nurses will be responsible for admission procedures, physician order management, and ensuring quality patient care with an emphasis on safety and recovery.
