Job Summary:
Long Term Care (LTC) Nurse in a 26-bed facility. This position involves acting as charge nurse, passing medications, and performing wound care within a department that serves patients with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. The role offers day shifts with a schedule of 12 hours per shift.

Job Details:

  • Certifications Required: BLS Certification
  • Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of LTC experience, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. License to submit required.
  • Location Requirements: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and may not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity.
  • Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, starting 09/21/2026, ending 12/21/2026.
  • Position Details: Responsible for acting as charge nurse, passing medications, wound care, and working in a 26-bed LTC setting. No IVs or titratable drips, no tele monitors, and no RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab. Interdisciplinary team includes PT, social workers, case managers, and dieticians.
  • Additional Information: Unit notes specify no on-site RT, medication system off-site, and no supervision from a DON or charge nurse. Orientation includes 2-3 shifts. Candidates will not be considered if employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at associated facilities.
