Job Summary
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare organization. The role involves providing specialized care to patients with complex medical needs in a dedicated LTAC setting. The position starts on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 01/02/2027, with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Previous experience in a long-term acute care environment or with respiratory/vented patients is highly preferred.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: 3 years of RN experience with respiratory/vented patients strongly preferred; must have or be willing to obtain Flu vaccination (personal or religious declinations not accepted).
Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is preferred.
Additional Information:
- Responsible for IV starts, drips, administering blood, EKGs, med titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, wound dressings, trach care, suctioning, straight cath, foley care, port access, central line dressing, and wound measurements.
- Will float to other units at local campuses, including respiratory care units, medially complex rehabilitation units, and TBI units.
- Nurses do not manage ventilators; respiratory therapists handle vents.
- Nurses will not be assigned to pediatrics unless pedi-specific experience exists.
