Job Summary
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse in Florida The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. The nurse will maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and supervise assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Job Details

  • Position Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • Certifications on file: ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association must be attached to the submission.
  • Location Requirements: Must have Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume.
  • Experience Requirements: Two to five years of clinical experience is required.
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines, and preferred wound care experience. Any submittals without the specified documentation will be rejected. Submission must follow provided template; incomplete submissions will be rejected.
  • Responsibilities include providing safe patient care, supervising staff, and documenting clinical activities in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
