Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics. Client experience preferred. Description: This position requires a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. The role involves working in both adult and pediatric emergency settings. You will be responsible for conducting evaluations for risk of self-harm, harm to others, or gravely disabled states. The position requires crisis intervention skills for mental health assessments. You will work every other weekend, with shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. Expected patient ratios are 7 per clinician. Candidates should have experience in case management and care coordination. You will document pertinent information to facilitate care coordination. The role includes developing clinical assessment reports and conducting mental health assessments. Experience with social, emotional, and behavioral needs assessment is necessary. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of cultural issues and ethical principles in practice. Candidates must be prepared to provide individualized patient and caregiver education. This role will include working with individuals facing mental health illnesses and substance use disorders. Floating between units may be required. Every other weekend work is mandatory. This position does not require on-call duties.
