Job Title: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: LICSW Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 hours (16:00 - 02:00) Experience: Minimum 3 years in a clinical role License: Full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social Worker required Certifications: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC Must-Have: - Complete understanding of conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics - Client experience preferred - Must have full licensure; an associate license will not suffice Description: This position will float between units, requiring flexibility. On-call duties are not required. Weekends will be mandatory, specifically every other weekend. The expected patient-to-staff ratio is approximately 7. Experience in conducting initial evaluations and mental health assessments is essential. Candidates should be adept in crisis intervention and management, particularly in emergency department settings. The role involves providing care coordination and case management services. Documentation and assessment of patient needs will be crucial in this role. Referral to appropriate resources is expected when necessary. Involvement with multi-disciplinary teams will ensure continuity of care for patients. This work will focus on individuals suffering from mental health illnesses and substance use disorders. Evaluation of risk factors for dangers to self or others will be a key responsibility. Candidates must possess skills in performing biopsychosocial assessments. Development of clinical assessment reports will be part of the duties. The position may require floating to nearby facilities to support the same responsibilities if necessary.
