    Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care in Bethel, AK
    This travel temporary assignment starts on 09/29/2026 for a 13-week contract. You’ll earn a weekly pay range of $1,302 to $1,390 with guaranteed 32 hours per week. The shift is Monday through Friday, in an inpatient care setting serving long-term care patients. This role requires staying compliant with licensure and facility policies while delivering patient-centered nursing care.

    Responsibilities
    - Provide quality nursing care to residents within the LPN scope of practice, including routine assessments, monitoring, and documentation.
    - Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accuracy, MAR compliance, and allergy awareness.
    - Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and health care aides to plan and implement individualized patient care plans.
    - Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns per protocol; apply age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
    - Assist with room stocking and supply checks in coordination with health aides; may help with basic ordering of supplies.
    - Screen calls over the phone when not on-site and assist mid-levels in after-hours clinics as needed.
    - Maintain competency through required training and pass ongoing competency evaluations.

    Requirements
    - Current Alaska LPN license in good standing (education: graduate from an approved LPN/LVN program).
    - CPR certification (BCLS) required; current BLS preferred.
    - Minimum experience: new graduates accepted; one year hospital experience preferred.
    - IV certification course (preferred) and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification (preferred).
    - Ability to work in an inpatient long-term care setting and provide care across the patient age range as applicable.
    - Valid proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination required for travel assignments.
