Description:
As an Adult Outpatient Therapist, you will participate in the delivery of clinical services, which includes intake evaluations and direct treatment for adults and families.
You will assess and document the needs of clients presenting for outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance abuse services.
You will provide individual and group therapy.
Collaboration with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel, and other support individuals is crucial in this role.
You must meet all contractual requirements, including maintaining state licensure.
Participation in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations is expected.
You will complete clinical records and documentation in a timely manner, adhering to established policies and procedures.
It is important to follow a professional code of ethics.
You will coordinate effective discharge planning prior to case closure.
Completion of 24 hours of training in the treatment of adults with mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders is required.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Some evening and weekend hours may be required based on program needs.
Mileage reimbursement will be provided for personal vehicle use, according to IRS standards.
