There is a team consisting of 1 RN and 6 outpatient therapists. The patient ratio allows for 5 groups a day with 10 patients per group. The unit uses Meditech for electronic medical records. Typical job responsibilities include facilitating psychotherapy and skills groups. Candidates will document group activities in Meditech. Psychosocial assessments are to be conducted. Treatment plans are to be updated regularly. Participation in the treatment team is required. Discharge planning and safety assessments are necessary as needed. Dress code is business casual; no jeans are permitted. The unit values a collaborative work environment and offers opportunities for professional growth. Candidates with knowledge of CBT and DBT skills are preferred. Experience running psychotherapy or skills groups is highly regarded.
