Vikta Grid is seeking experienced Texas Licensed Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team. We're looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals with hands-on experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and/or DC Fast Charging, including Tesla Supercharger installations. Solar experience (residential and commercial) is a strong plus. This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy travel, working on a variety of job sites, and being part of the rapidly expanding renewable energy industry. Crews will travel throughout Texas as well as to projects in other states.
Requirements:
- Current Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas (required)
- Hands-on experience with BESS installations and/or DC Fast Charging / Tesla Supercharger installations (required)
- Commercial solar installation experience preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel, throughout Texas and out of state
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, jobsite safety, and troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Install DC Fast Charging stations, including Tesla Superchargers, and related electrical infrastructure
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain solar electrical systems
- Read plans, layouts, and electrical drawings
- Ensure all work is completed safely and up to code
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers
- Travel to job sites across Texas and other states as needed
