Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking an experienced Social Worker for a 26-week contract assignment. The clinician will provide crisis assessment and intervention services, with responsibilities transitioning during the contract to include Mobile Crisis Clinician duties.
ScheduleShift: Days
Hours: 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Total Hours: 80 hours every two weeks
Additional Requirement: Potential schedule rotation and/or on-call coverage
First 13 Weeks: Crisis Clinician
Second 13 Weeks: Combination of Crisis Clinician and Mobile Crisis Clinician
Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and clinical support to patients experiencing behavioral health or psychosocial crises.
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community resources.
Provide mobile crisis services as assigned during the second half of the contract.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in EPIC.
Support patient safety, stabilization, disposition, and continuity of care.
Participate in on-call or rotational coverage as required.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required.
BLS (AHA) certification required.
License must be valid and eligible for submission.
BSN not required.
Experience in crisis intervention, behavioral health, acute care, or mobile crisis services is preferred.
