Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical social work services to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in a hospital setting
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Support patients and families through crisis intervention, discharge planning, and community resource coordination
Maintain consistent attendance and reliability on a small, high-dependency unit where coverage is critical to patient care
Participate in required holiday coverage blocks as scheduled, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year periods
Required Qualifications
Master's in Social Work (MSW) required
Active Massachusetts LMSW license - must be uploaded with profile
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
CPI certification required
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric experience required
Experience working with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations required
Must have own reliable vehicle for this assignment
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous Emergency Department (ED) experience highly preferred
Demonstrated history of reliability and consistent attendance in fast-paced clinical environments
