Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and occasional family therapy services to a Medicare/geriatric patient population through an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Geriatric Psychiatry setting
  • Treat patients presenting with conditions including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Adjustment Disorders
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions accommodating up to 12 patients, with current enrollment typically resulting in smaller group sizes
  • Float to the Senior Wellness Program as needed within the same facility
  • Participate in community outreach activities, including a monthly grief support group and other community events as needed
  • Document patient care using electronic health record systems; EPIC charting experience preferred
Required Qualifications
  • Active licensure required: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPC; Master's degree required; candidates from social work or professional counseling backgrounds will be considered
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
  • Ability to comply with facility infection control policies, including masking requirements for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccination during applicable seasons - compliance is mandatory with no exceptions
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desired
  • EPIC electronic health record charting experience
  • Candidates with prior contract experience in colder climates (Midwest, Northeast, Mountain regions, etc.) are preferred for winter start dates to ensure reliability through weather events
