This position will be for a 6-week contract within a traditional outpatient behavioral health clinic. Program Counselors will see patients, complete initial intake assessments, create treatment plans, and provide interventions based on those plans. The role will primarily involve seeing another clinician's current patients during their leave, but may also include new patients as assigned. The counselor will work three consecutive days of 8-hour shifts during the weekdays. First-time counselors are welcome to apply. Candidates are required to hold a state behavioral health license and basic life support certification. Candidates must also possess a fingerprint clearance card. Candidates must be willing to float to other units based on skills and census needs. Candidates will be expected to adhere to the quality and patient safety standards established by the facility.
