Join a leading healthcare provider as a Level 3 RN specializing in Gastroenterology in Rochester, NY. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care in the Endoscopy unit.

Job Duties:

Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns.
Observing patient vital signs.
Sedating patients before procedures.
Recovering patients after procedures.
Administering the necessary medication to patients.
Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure.
Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.
Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure.
Administering IV drips.

Requirements:

NY license ONLY
BLS Certification AHA ONLY
ACLS Certification AHA ONLY
2 years previous endoscopy procedure experience
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification Required
Conscious sedation
Expert IV insertion
Recovering patients from general anesthesia required
Performing intake for GI procedures
