Job Summary:
House Supervisor Level 1 in a Level II Trauma Center setting requires a highly experienced nursing professional to coordinate admissions, transfers, and bed placements within the admit/transfer center. The role involves working flexible 10 to 12-hour night shifts, supporting operational efficiency and patient flow across multiple units, with a focus on effective leadership and clinical supervision.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license, at least 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or transfer center experience, proficiency with Epic charting system, and recent experience in emergency department, inpatient acute care, or ICU settings.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma or pediatric trauma centers, crisis intervention/management skills, and familiarity with facility/bed diversion and bed control.
  • Additional Information: Position involves no patient contact but requires close collaboration with house supervisors and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient placement and transfer processes. Must be available to work every other weekend and commit to working three of the five designated holidays. Candidates will need to demonstrate flexibility and experience with intake and transfer procedures.
