Premier commercial general contractor is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects across North and South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven field leader who can independently manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while working with a highly respected and growing contractor

Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion.
  • Manage day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality control.
  • Drive project execution while ensuring milestones, budgets, and client expectations are met.
  • Coordinate site logistics, inspections, and communication between project stakeholders.
  • Oversee ground-up commercial construction projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • Travel as needed to support project delivery across the region.

Profile

  • 10+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Proven ability to independently run projects from start to finish.
  • Strong sitework and ground-up construction experience.
  • Hospitality, hotel, or lodging project experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience delivering multi-story commercial projects valued between $10M and $20M+.
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Stable career history with demonstrated project success.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
  • Candidates located near major North Carolina metros such as Charlotte, Raleigh, or the Triad are preferred
