Job Description:

This position involves working as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit, with responsibilities including supporting labor, delivery, and postpartum care. The role requires floating to other units as needed and requires working weekends and holidays as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Titrate drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and others for antepartum/labor care
• Administer medications such as prenatal vitamins, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, and Percocet for postpartum care
• Use and troubleshoot neonatal vent equipment such as CPAP, Bipap, and high flow
• Utilize the OB Trace Vue for electronic fetal monitoring
• Float to MSP/ED for patient support as needed

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery
• Ability to pass fit testing for use of facility respirators without facial hair
