Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an LDRP position requiring 2+ years of LDRP experience and BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification.

Details

  • LDRP unit within an OB Maternal Level 2, Nursery Level 1, 24-bed unit
  • Labor patient ratio of 1-2:1 and postpartum ratio of 3-4:1
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • Call required for 12 hours per calendar month
  • Floating required, with travelers floated first, potentially to sister campuses

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience required
  • Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
  • Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

  • Unit cannot accommodate any holiday time off
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, with strict enforcement including property ownership checks
  • No block scheduling requests permitted
  • All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration and will not be approved afterward
  • Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
  • Travelers are expected to secure full-time housing in the area and function as core staff
  • Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documents
