Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with LDRP experience and recent Epic charting experience for a night shift position requiring a VT or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Birthing Center unit of a hospital setting
  • Provides care across Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
  • Schedule runs Monday through Sunday with no block scheduling
  • Minimum of every other weekend required or as adjusted to meet unit needs
  • Floating required to Med Surg and ED units
  • Holiday coverage required for 2 of the following 4: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day

Requirements

  • Active VT or compact RN license required
  • AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required
  • Experience in Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum Care, and Newborn Care required
  • Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience preferred
  • Bi-weekly orientation schedule
  • Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation in the area
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
  • Candidates must explain any employment gaps over 90 days
