Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Lewistown, MT 59457

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Central Montana

Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours. Assignment duration of 91 days (approximately 13 weeks).

Highlights:

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Manage labor progression, assist with deliveries, and respond to obstetric emergencies
Perform cervical exams, interpret fetal monitoring strips, and prepare patients for operative deliveries
Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns
Promote positive birth experiences through compassionate, patient-centered care

Requirements:

Current Montana RN license required
Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
STABLE Program certification
Experience in both Labor and Delivery required
Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
