Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring MA licensure and NRP certification.

Details

  • Obstetrics Delivery unit providing full-scope perinatal care in collaboration with a regional medical center
  • Services include prenatal evaluation, intrapartum labor and birth care, operative delivery recovery, postpartum care, and couplet dyad care for well babies and newborns requiring higher level care
  • 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  • No floating required
  • No charge nurse responsibilities required

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
  • 3-5+ years of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
  • Comfort working in the OR preferred
  • Flu vaccine required during onboarding with no declinations accepted
  • COVID vaccine plus booster required (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

  • Provide comprehensive perinatal nursing care across prenatal, intrapartum, operative, and postpartum phases
  • Biweekly orientation provided
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, perm, or per diem) before returning
  • First-time travelers may be considered
