Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience, 1 year of travel experience, and compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact/eNLC)
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or Instructor certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• No Level I trauma experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document nursing interventions and treatments
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Administer medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans with patients and families throughout hospitalization and discharge
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Facility maintains strict credentialing and compliance deadlines with no start date flexibility
