Description
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide care to expectant mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Your role includes monitoring the progress of labor, assisting with deliveries, and providing education to families. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team in a fast-paced setting, requiring adaptability and commitment to patient care.

Requirements

Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider (NRP recertification required every 2 years)
Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course)
Competence in and a willingness and ability to practice modified primary nursing
Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC) if Lactation RN
American Heart Association ACLS
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
American Heart Association BLS
