Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high risk birth experience and c-section circulating skills.

Details

  • Work in the Women's and Babies unit of a hospital environment
  • Patient population includes high risk births requiring telemetry monitoring
  • Circulating c-sections is a core responsibility
  • 10-week assignment with a firm end date
  • 12-hour night shift schedule totaling 48 hours per week
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • On-call responsibilities of 12 hours every three weeks, which can be split into 4-hour increments
  • Must report within 1 hour of being called in during the on-call block

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Fetal Monitoring
  • Prior Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
  • Experience with high risk births required
  • Experience circulating c-sections required
  • Telemetry monitoring experience required

  • Provide nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients including high risk births
