Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM certifications and two years of acute care experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required (EFM may be AWHONN but must not be in place more than 1 year)
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient and family centered care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Facilitate patient and family education throughout stay and at discharge
• Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize multidisciplinary resources
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure patient care environment
