HIGHLIGHTS:
- Experience in Labor Delivery [required]
- Experience in Post Partum / mother-baby care [preferred]
- current/recent high risk OB experience in level I trauma facility [highly preferred]
- current/recent high risk OB experience in level II trauma facility [required]
- Antepartum, C-section/vaginal delivery experience [required]
- No 1st time travelers, must have completed at least one travel assignment in previous 12 mos [required]
- Intermediate or Advance EFM / AWHONN certificate is accepted [required]
- EPIC emr experience [required]
- Work history/resume/employment history must have recent/current Labor Delivery experience [required]
- Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Labor Delivery) [required]
- Nursy s must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission [required]
- Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS - basic life support [required]
- AHA/American Heart Association- ACLS certificate - advance cardiac life support [required]
- NRP certificate [required]
- AWHONN certificate [document] [required]
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
- Patient Types: High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries
- Drips: magnesium, insulin, pitocin
- Deliveries/month: 150 @ Methodist, 300-350 at Iowa Methodist
- Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Iowa Methodist

- HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
