**Exciting Opportunity for RN in Labor & Delivery!** **Job Description:** - Shift: 7:00PM - 7:00AM - Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D) - Location: Salem, Virginia - Patient Capacity: 17 inpatient beds, 2 triage - Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 for optimal care - Equipment: Monica Novii, Ambulatory (Telemetry) Monitors, GE EFM - Documentation: Meditech, Centricity - Scheduling: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week - Floating Policy: MB/Postpartum **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate as part of a dedicated team to provide exceptional patient care - Perform IV insertion, lab draws, and administer blood/nitrous - Conduct vaginal exams and prepare delivery tables for vaginal deliveries - Interpret fetal monitoring strips effectively - Circulate during C/S procedures and support PACU recovery for spinal anesthesia - Assist with epidural placement and manage antepartum triage **Qualifications:** - Must possess Labor & Delivery nursing experience - Knowledge of common OB medications and complications - Experience with circulator duties in C/S and PACU recovery - Strong teamwork approach and commitment to patient care - Required Certifications: RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NRP **Work Environment:** - Dynamic unit with a supportive team culture - Emphasis on patient experience through AIDET and respectful interactions - 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule - Ready for huddle at 6:45 to kick off each shift **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
