Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

  • Busy Labor and Delivery unit including Antepartum and OB ED areas
  • Facility includes a Level III NICU
  • May occasionally float to related OB areas such as Mother Baby
  • Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
  • Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
  • 13-week assignment length

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • NRP certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics) required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required
  • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start required

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care within a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting supporting antepartum, OB emergency, and NICU-adjacent care
  • Holiday coverage required as part of rotation schedule
  • Radius rule applies which may affect eligibility for travel rate; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
