Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 18 months of L&D experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Meditech charting system
- Float to other departments and facilities, including Perry Hospital, as needed based on department rotation
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum 18 months of L&D nursing experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- BLS (AHA) certification required to start
- NRP certification required to start
- Fetal Monitoring certification required to start
- ACLS certification preferred
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit
- Interview process includes an interview with the Nurse Manager
- Former employees of this health system must be separated for 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Facility maintains strict RTO policies, allowing up to 5 days off when not near a holiday and up to 3 days when RTO falls on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday request is permitted per assignment
