Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring TN or compact RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

  • 14-bed Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
  • Patient population consists of expecting individuals
  • Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
  • 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekend shifts required
  • No block scheduling offered; flexibility to meet unit staffing needs is required
  • Floating required to NICU and Post Partum as part of the Helping Hands program
  • Uses Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems

Requirements

  • Active TN or multistate RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Must be able to circulate
  • Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS

Additional Information

  • Surgical scrubs provided
  • Unit staff create the schedule
  • No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live
  • Orientation dates are limited to 11/16, 11/30, and 12/14 only, with no other start dates available
  • Local candidates accepted
  • Radius rule of 75 miles applies, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate
