Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring acute care experience and current EMR proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital environment
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• 6-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
• At least 2 years of full-time experience in a specialized unit within the last 2 years
• Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments within the past 12 months working full-time in an acute care setting
• Current EMR experience required
• Two clinical references required, covering the last year of employment, from a leadership role such as a nurse manager or charge nurse
• A reference from each facility worked at within the past year is required if applicable
• Employment history for the past 7 years required, including facility names, specialties, and dates worked
• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
• Current skills checklist required, valid within the last year

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients within a Labor & Delivery unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Can only be submitted to one position at this facility at a time
