Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of high-volume L&D experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Mother Baby unit setting within an acute and sub-acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility
• On-call schedule to be determined by the facility
• Must be willing to work the facility's assigned schedule

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required
• Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and NIHSS
• EFM certification required, or willingness to obtain within 48 hours if offered
• NIHSS certification required, or willingness to obtain within 48 hours if offered
• 2+ years of recent high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required with state-recorded proof; declinations not accepted

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with professional nursing standards
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and those under direction
• Utilize specialized nursing knowledge and judgment to provide age-appropriate patient care
