Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring L&D experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Work in the LDRP unit of a hospital setting
  • 13-week assignment with 36 weekly hours
  • Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • Holiday coverage required for two of three major holidays

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • NRP certification preferred
  • Ascension Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent AWHONN/Relias program within the past 2 years required
  • Primary source license verification via Nursys within 30 days prior to start required
  • Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
  • Candidates must reside outside the facility's radius rule to qualify for the full travel rate; local candidates within the radius may be eligible at a reduced rate
  • Only one submission permitted per candidate across the Ascension health system
  • Candidates should discuss assignment extensions with their manager at least 45 days before the end date
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position
