Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D RN) Anchorage, AK. This high-risk obstetrics unit provides care for antepartum, delivery, and postpartum patients in a Magnet-designated facility. The position involves delivering comprehensive maternal care in a busy environment, requiring hands-on expertise in obstetrics and neonatal care.
Job Details
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Valid Alaska RN license in hand, BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced certifications, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Experience: 2 years of labor and delivery experience, with charge experience preferred or willingness to train as charge.
- Additional Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of 1-year related experience, be proficient in EPIC charting system, and have appropriate certifications.
- Responsibilities: Provide obstetric and neonatal nursing care, assist with high-risk deliveries, perform postpartum assessments, and support patient education.
- Additional Information: Candidate must have current license in hand for auto-offer and be willing to work 2 major holidays. Must have completed modules prior to start and adhere to travel and licensing requirements.
