Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) for a healthcare facility located in the designated area. This role involves providing direct patient care in the obstetrics department, supporting women during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to clinical standards, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the childbirth process.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 10/19/2026 to 01/18/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in labor and delivery nursing, valid certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Association of Womens Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and active or pending license accepted.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum care, and obstetric procedures.
  • Additional Information: All float requirements from obstetrics include helping hands, sitter/camera watching, or CNA-type work. A skilled RN will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care for neonates, adolescents, infants, and adults within the unit. Flexibility in floating to other units within the facility may be required.
