Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery, Lodi. Provides coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and the nursing process. The role supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking and independent judgment to promote safe patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Responsibilities: Collects and analyzes patient data, develops and implements individualized care plans, evaluates patient outcomes, coordinates care delivery, promotes a safe environment, collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, provides health education, participates in discharge planning, and delegates duties appropriately.
- Additional Information: Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines. Required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable; medical and religious exemptions may apply.
