Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in a 277-bed acute care hospital. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and support. The position requires the ability to work night shifts and may involve floating between units as needed.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Education Requirements: Valid state license; compact license must be in hand at submission
- Years of Experience: 2 years minimum
- Location Requirements: 50 miles radius
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Experience in labor and postpartum care, completed orientation of 40 hours, proficiency in charting system Epic, and at least 2 years of experience
- Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to float between units, including postpartum as needed. Candidates should be prepared to work a minimum of three holidays per contract. References covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required.
