The role includes circulating for cesarean sections, with a focus on supporting patient-centered obstetric care in an acute care setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other shift, totaling at least 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications and licenses including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; valid license to submit; COVID vaccine required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating for cesarean sections is required; scrubbing experience is preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, including to postpartum units.
  • Additional Information: Patients may present with various diagnoses including pre-eclampsia, insulin-dependent diabetics, and substance abuse. The unit is equipped with fetal monitoring systems and Cerner electronic medical records. The department operates with a charge nurse team, provides in-house coverage for neonatologists, and requires adherence to unit-specific orientation protocols.
