Job Details
- Position Description: Experienced Labor & Delivery RN with high-risk obstetric expertise, including antepartum, triage, OR circulation, neonatal care, and proficiency with Epic charting.
- Required Qualifications: 2+ years' experience in hospital labor and delivery units with a minimum of 150 births per month, recent within the last 6 months; certifications including BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN); valid licensure within the state.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charge responsibilities, community hospital experience, and trauma level I or II experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to float to postpartum if needed. The role involves assisting with high-risk deliveries, sterile speculum exams, amniocentesis, cesarean sections, and neonatal assessments. Candidates should be prepared to work every other weekend.
- Submission Requirements: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certifications and references obtained within the last year are required.
